Where Do I start

That Depends!

Do you live in Seattle and would like Jamie to come and take photos of your pet to use for the art process?

If so, then you will want to schedule a Decopaw Sitting.

  • Decopaw sittings cost $50. Shoot fee is for single pet shoots. Each additional pet add $25.
  • Sittings take approximately 20-30 minutes. Just enough time to get some good posed shots for the art process. Backgrounds don't matter, in fact, shooting in front of a solid-colored wall outdoors is best. We also don't need a lot of space as action shots tend not to work well for the art process. Think 'sitting pretty' with a smile.
  • Sittings are taken on location in the city of Seattle only. Clients who live in the greater Seattle area outside of the city may do their sittings at the outdoor Cowbelly 'studio': Parson's Garden's Park on Queen Anne. Clients who can't travel with their pets or who live outside of the greater Seattle area may send digital images or film prints to use for the art process (see below).
  • Clients who purchase Decopaw Sittings must also provide a 50% deposit on the art at the time of the sitting. Decopaw Sittings may not be substituted for straight photography sessions.
  • Decopaw sittings produce approximately 30 great shots to choose from to use for the art process.

Don't live in Seattle and/or have pre-existing photos you would like to use?

Please send digital files through e-mail to Jamie at: info@cowbelly.com.

She'd like it if you wrote something in the e-mail too, like what you are looking for, how you found her, your pets name(s), etc.

Digital File Guidelines:
The best quality art comes from the best quality images. Please send original images from the camera (at 72 dpi), at the highest resolution possible, preferably a minimum resolution of 2048x1536. Minimum file size of 1MB.

Film Prints: (returned with delivery of art)
Please mail them to:

Cowbelly Pet Photography
24 Roy St. #466
Seattle, WA 98109

Ideal Shots:
NO FLASH, good detail and even lighting across face, close-up shots, good focus, great visibility of eyes.

Good expression of the pet's personality- does it look like them? Does it make you laugh or tug at your heartstrings?.

Feel free to send Jamie an e-mail at info@cowbelly.com if you have questions about your images.
